Katharine Correia

Katharine Correia is an experienced academic and biostatistician currently serving as Assistant Professor of Statistics at Amherst College since 2018. Previous roles include Teaching Assistant at Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health where responsibilities involved leading interactive exercises and supporting students in various biostatistics courses from 2015 to 2017. Prior to that, Katharine worked as a Biostatistician at Brigham and Women's Hospital, focusing on women's reproductive health and infertility, and as a Data Manager & Statistical Programmer at Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health. Additional experience includes positions in statistical programming and research analysis across various organizations, including DM-STAT, Inc. and Mount Holyoke College. Katharine holds a PhD in Biostatistics from Harvard University and a Master’s in the same field from Boston University, complemented by a BA in Statistics from Mount Holyoke College.
