Governance and Compliance

The Governance and Compliance team at Amherst College is responsible for ensuring that the institution adheres to legal, regulatory, and ethical standards. This team, led by the Chief Policy Officer & General Counsel, collaborates with the Board of Trustees to develop policies and oversee compliance frameworks that foster accountability and institutional integrity while supporting the college's mission to educate and empower students.
