The AMIB was founded in 1968 by a small group of parents of young adults with developmental disabilities, their friends and professionals, incorporating in the State of New Jersey in 1970, as a not for profit entity. AMIB is a growing non-profit social service organization focused on providing community based services to children and adults with developmental iand intellectual disabilities as well as a visual impairment. AMIB Inc.
