P. Eng. Andy Sun

Andy Sun, P. Eng., currently serves as the Engineering Manager at Amico Patient Care Corporation since March 2020, leading engineering efforts in the development and manufacturing of medical furniture and suction & oxygen therapy medical devices. Previously, Andy held the position of Principal Systems Engineer at Coltene SciCan Ltd., where responsibilities included leading new product development projects and engaging in national/international medical device standardization efforts. Andy's extensive experience in the medical device industry spans multiple roles in research and development, focusing on product reprocessing and standard development, as well as project management in engineering. An active participant in various standardization working groups, Andy represents Canada and Switzerland in international committees and has a solid educational background with a Master of Applied Science and Bachelor of Applied Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Toronto.
