Caroline Stockwell

Caroline Stockwell has a diverse and extensive work experience in the legal field. Caroline is currently the VP and Head of Legal - International at Amicus Therapeutics since November 2021. Prior to that, they held the position of VP and Head of Legal - International and Chief Privacy Officer for Intercept Pharmaceuticals from October 2020 to November 2021. From 2016 to 2020, they worked as the Head of Business Conduct and Therapy Area Legal EMEA at Gilead Sciences. Caroline also has experience with Pfizer, where they served as the Vice President, Assistant General Counsel, Clinical Development Legal - Global from 2011 to 2016. In earlier stages of their career, they worked as a Partner at DLA Piper UK LLP, a Senior Solicitor at Group Lotus plc, a Solicitor at DLA Piper, and a Solicitor and Training Contract at Addleshaw Goddard.

Caroline Stockwell has a diverse education history. Caroline holds Post Graduate Diplomas from the College of Law, London, where they completed the Legal Practice Course and the Post Graduate Law Conversion Course (CPE). Caroline also has a Master of Science (MSc) degree in Environmental Engineering (Integrated Pollution Management) from The University of Manchester. Additionally, they obtained a BSc (Hons) in Applied Chemistry from Sheffield Hallam University. Furthermore, Caroline has recently obtained a certification in "Data: Law, Policy and Regulation" from The London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE) in 2021.
