Ron Skwirut

Ron Skwirut has extensive experience in tax management and compliance. Ron has served as a Tax Director at Amicus Therapeutics since 2023. Prior to that, they worked as a Senior Tax Manager at Curtiss-Wright Corporation, overseeing US tax operations and managing a team of professionals. Ron was also responsible for tax accounting, effective tax rates, and timely filing of tax returns for multiple legal entities across various jurisdictions. Before joining Curtiss-Wright Corporation, Skwirut held roles such as Tax Director and Manager - Tax Reporting & Compliance at BD, where they managed global tax accounting, reporting, policy, and compliance. Earlier in their career, they worked as a Tax Analyst at Telcordia Technologies and Tax Accountant at Siemens. Skwirut began their career as a Staff Accountant at Suburban Propane, where they gained experience in general ledger reconciliation, tax accruals, and income tax packages.

Ron Skwirut holds a Master of Science degree in Taxation from Fairleigh Dickinson University-Florham Campus, which they obtained from 2002 to 2006. Prior to that, they completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration and Professional Accounting from Montclair State University, from 1993 to 1995. Ron also holds a CPA certification from the State of New Jersey.
