Venu Gopalakrishnan

Venu Gopalakrishnan has a diverse work experience in the pharmaceutical industry. Venu is currently the Head of Global Commercial Operations & FP&A at Amicus Therapeutics since 2018. Previously, they held the role of Executive Director Global Business Analytics at PTC Therapeutics, Inc. from 2017 to 2018. Prior to that, Venu worked as the Sr. Director, Business Analysis at Nevakar LLC from 2016 to 2017. Venu also served as the Commercial Analytics Lead at Merrimack Pharmaceuticals and Senior Director, Decision Support at NPS Pharmaceuticals. Venu's earlier experience includes positions at Valeant Pharmaceuticals, Biovail, and The Mattson Jack Group.

Venu Gopalakrishnan completed a Bachelor of Pharmacy (B.Pharm.) degree at Nagpur University. Later, they pursued and obtained an MSMR degree in Marketing Research from The University of Texas at Arlington between 1998 and 2000.
