Shabeena Habib is the Vice President of People and Culture at Amii, accountable for the people-first strategy of Amii, enabling teams to do their best work, and keeping a human focus at the heart of everything they do. The words “people and culture” are a daily reminder for Shabeena of her top priority: to approach every action through the lens of how it’s going to affect Amii's people and culture.

A senior leader with over 20 years of experience in industries such as not-for-profit, hospitality, retail and social services, Shabeena is known for maximizing operational excellence through her commitment to collaborative leadership, innovative approaches to work-life integration, and responsibility towards learning and development. She is an authentic leader who is intensely passionate about delivering programs that create a unique and rewarding workplace. She is consistently described as a dedicated, creative, and passionate Human Resources professional with a belief that driving a successful people-focused, purpose-driven strategy -- one that defines, identifies, attracts, hires, engages, develops, and recognizes the talent within an organization -- drives a distinct competitive advantage.

Shabeena holds a B.Sc. Degree from the University of Alberta specializing in Foods and Nutrition, though her career path led her to what she most passionately loves to do: “Train people well enough so that they can leave, treat them well enough so that they don’t want to” – R. Branson.
