Julian Kim is a Virtual Reality Researcher and Software Developer at Grinnell College since February 2023, where contributions include creating immersive educational experiences that integrate mathematical and economic concepts through virtual reality and collaborating with faculty to research the application of XR in teaching. Julian also serves as a Computer Science Tutor at Amikka Learning and an SAT Tutor at P3+Uplift. Experience as a Software Engineering Intern involved leading the migration of an API from REST to GraphQL and enhancing an internal question board project. Prior experience includes serving as a Teaching Assistant for AP Calculus BC at Leonia High School. Julian is pursuing a Bachelor of Arts in Computer Science and Music at Grinnell College and has furthered education at AIT-Budapest and Yonsei University, following a strong foundation in Mathematics at Leonia High School.
