Sophia S.

Sophia S. is an accomplished student and emerging professional in the fields of public health and chemistry, currently pursuing a Bachelor of Science with a double major at Santa Clara University. As an Emergency Medical Technician at the National Registry of Emergency Medical Technicians since January 2025, Sophia has gained hands-on experience in emergency care. Concurrently, Sophia serves as a Teaching Assistant and Research Assistant in the Department of Chemistry, engages in the HPV Cancer Free Campaign as a Project Leader through the UC Davis School of Medicine, and holds an internship focused on health care ethics at the Markkula Center for Applied Ethics. Sophia is also involved with Rho Psi Eta, Placer Wistem, and the UCDavis Adolescent and Young Adult Research Advisory Board, while contributing as an SAT Tutor for the College Board. Sophia's leadership and academic contributions are underscored by participation in the Johnson Scholars Program and the University Honors Program, reflecting a strong commitment to advancing both personal and community well-being.
