Tor Inge Åsen

Tor Inge Åsen has a diverse work experience spanning several companies. Tor Inge is currently working at Amina Charging as the Principal Hardware Engineer, a role they started in August 2022. Prior to that, they worked at National Oilwell Varco as the Principal Electronics Design Engineer from April 2020 to July 2022. Tor Inge also served as an Electronic Engineer - Subsea Electric Actuators at Baker Hughes, a GE company from May 2019 to March 2020. Before that, they worked at Canrig Drilling Technology (Norway) AS, where they held two roles. Tor Inge was a Technical Authority - Electronics from October 2016 to April 2019 and a Senior Electronics Engineer from August 2012 to April 2019. At Canrig, they played a significant role in designing and sourcing key components for the control system electronics of an electro-mechanical rotary steerable drilling tool. Prior to Canrig, Tor Inge worked at Tendeka as a Wireless Development Team Leader from January 2011 to July 2012 and as a Project Engineer from November 2005 to January 2011. Their earliest work experience was as an R&D Engineer at Simrad Egersund AS from May 2000 to November 2005.

Tor Inge Åsen completed their education with a degree in Engineering, specializing in Automation with Electronics, from the University of Stavanger. This degree was earned from 1997 to 2000. Prior to this, Tor Inge Åsen pursued a degree in Telekom from Stavanger Tekniske Fagskole from 1995 to 1997.
