Malia Vella

Malia Vella currently serves as Vice President of State Partnerships at Amira Learning and holds the position of Councilmember for the City of Alameda. Additionally, Malia Vella is a member of the Board of Directors for Spectrum Community Services, Inc. and acts as a Political Partner for the Truman National Security Project. Malia Vella previously served as Deputy Superintendent at the California Department of Education. Malia Vella earned a Doctor of Law (J.D.) with a Special Certificate in Public Interest & Social Justice from Santa Clara University School of Law and holds a degree from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
