Jake Pfaffenroth

Jake Pfaffenroth is an experienced software engineer currently working at Amissa, where responsibilities include designing and developing API-driven web applications and architecting a monorepo structure. Previously, Jake served as a front-end engineer at WompMobile, contributing to the development and deployment of features for Bed Bath and Beyond while implementing CI testing to enhance quality assurance. Earlier roles included operations manager at Western Washington University, where Jake modernized software solutions and streamlined workflows, and director of web and media for the Wisconsin Archaeological Society, successfully increasing engagement through a revamped web presence. Jake holds a PhD in Anthropology from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, supplemented by a Master’s and Bachelor’s degree in the same field.
