Eric Lai

Eric Lai is an experienced pricing and manufacturing professional with a strong background in cost modeling and production management. Since January 2023, Eric has served as Pricing Manager at Amkor Technology, Inc., where responsibilities include developing cost models for packaging. Prior to this, Eric spent over 15 years at UTAC in various roles, including Pricing Manager, Manufacturing Section Manager, Engineering Section Manager, Senior Process Engineer, Process Engineer II, and Equipment Engineer. Responsibilities encompassed planning and managing manufacturing processes, leading engineering teams in maintenance and upgrades of testing equipment, and enhancing workflow and equipment capabilities. Eric holds an MBA from the University of Strathclyde and a Bachelor's Degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering from Liverpool John Moores University, alongside an Advanced Diploma in Electronic Engineering from Tunku Abdul Rahman College.
