Ganesh Achuthan has a diverse and extensive work experience in the software engineering field. Ganesh started their career in 1998 as a Video Algorithms Engineer at Sarnoff Corporation. Ganesh then worked as a Video Engineer at E-Vue Inc before joining PacketVideo as a Senior Embedded Engineer in 2000. In 2003, Ganesh joined Nokia as a Senior Multimedia Engineer, working on the Series 60 Platform. Ganesh then moved to Motorola Mobility in 2004, where they served as a Senior Architect, Software Platforms until 2011. During their time at Motorola, Ganesh led the development of software for multiple devices and platforms. In 2011, they joined Flex as the Director of Software for the Imerj 2-1 Tablet. Ganesh later joined Marvell Semiconductor in 2012, initially as a Director of Software Engineering and then promoted to Senior Director of Software. In their role at Marvell, Ganesh led a large team of engineers and played a key role in developing software for various products, including Google Home, Sony PlayStation VR, and Smart Home devices. In 2018, Ganesh joined Amlogic, Inc. as the Vice President of Software Engineering.

Ganesh Achuthan completed their education with a Master of Science (MS) degree in Electrical Engineering from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, attending from 1997 to 1999. Prior to this, they obtained a Bachelor of Engineering (BE) degree with Honors in Instrumentation Engineering from Birla Institute of Technology and Science, Pilani, during the period of 1993 to 1997. Additionally, they attended Padma Seshadri Bala Bhavan in Chennai, although the specific dates and degree received from this institution were not provided.
