Aslan

Aslan Ph.D currently serves as the Environmental Services Manager at PT Amman Mineral Nusa Tenggara since April 2022. Previously, Aslan was the Geomatic Unit Leader at Hatfield from April 2021 to April 2022, and held the positions of Research Manager and Acting Deputy Director for Program at SEAMEO BIOTROP from February 2019 to April 2021. Additional experience includes working as a Data and Information Management Expert for FAO, Forest Ecosystem Manager at KEHATI, and Board of Trustee member for the Indonesian Muslim Society in America. Academic roles include Research Associate II at The University of Texas Rio Grande Valley and North America Representative for Human Initiative. Aslan has also contributed as an Indonesian Mangrove Carbon Assessment Adviser for the US Forest Service. Educational qualifications include a PhD in Environmental Science and Geography from O'Neill School of Public and Environmental Affairs, a Master in Civil Engineering from the University of Missouri-Columbia, and a Bachelor in Marine Science and Technology from IPB University.
