Amy Myers

Amy Myers, MD is the founder and principal CEO of AMMD, a health & wellness brand that aims to help individuals understand the root cause of their symptoms and find solutions to live healthier lives. Amy'sinterest in functional medicine stems from their own experience with Graves' disease, an autoimmune thyroid condition. Prior to founding AMMD, they worked as an ER physician at Brackenridge Hospital, where they treated various medical conditions, stabilized patients, and coordinated their care with specialists. Additionally, they served in the Peace Corps in Paraguay, South America from 1995 to 1998.

Amy Myers, MD completed their ER Residency at the University of Maryland School of Medicine from 2005 to 2008. Amy obtained their MD degree from the Louisiana State University School of Medicine in New Orleans from 2001 to 2005. Prior to that, they pursued a Post-Bac program in Pre-Medicine/Pre-Medical Studies at the University of Washington from 1998 to 1999.
