Alex Russell has had an extensive and successful career in advertising and creative director roles. Alex is currently the Chief Creative Officer at Ammunition, where they founded the company and has helped it become one of Atlanta's top advertising agencies. Prior to that, they were the Chief Creative Officer at Genexa, where they built up the internal team and led the development of the company's first-ever 360 brand campaign. Alex also held the position of Executive Creative Director at The Coca-Cola Company, where they led a wide range of work across their brands and grew the capabilities of their in-house production studio. Before that, they co-founded Alexander&Steve and worked as a Freelance Creative Director at Mekanism. Alex's experience also includes being an SVP Creative Director at BBDO Worldwide, where they played a key role in AT&T advertising campaigns and was recognized as one of the top 24 creatives in the industry. Alex also worked as a Sr CW at Venables Bell and Partners, where they led successful pitches and worked on various campaigns. Alex began their career as a CW at Arnold Worldwide, primarily working on the Volkswagen account before moving on to other notable brands.
Alex Russell has a Bachelor's degree from Washington and Lee University, which was earned between 1991 and 1995. Alex also completed a Copywriting program at The Creative Circus from 1998 to 2000.
