Jacobia Solomon Emba

Jacobia Solomon has extensive work experience in various executive and leadership roles. Currently serving as the President of AMN Healthcare Language Services, they are responsible for establishing long-range goals and policies, ensuring strategic and operational success, and providing leadership to the management team. Jacobia is a member of the Women Business Leaders of the US Health Care Industry Foundation (WBL) and Chief, where they contribute their expertise and insights. Previously, they held the position of Chief Executive Officer at Siemens Logistics Canada, where they provided strategic, financial, and operational leadership, as well as Head of Product & Solutions Development, leading innovation and engaging with customers globally. Prior to that, they were the Vice President of Engineering at Manitowoc Foodservice and Mimeo, managing engineering departments and product development. Jacobia also worked at Newell Brands as a Senior Program Manager, overseeing enterprise software projects, and at O-I as a Lean Six Sigma Manager. Jacobia began their career at Ford Motor Company as a New Product Development Specialist, leading product management teams and performing market analysis. Jacobia Solomon holds an Executive MBA from The University of Texas at Arlington, which was obtained from 2020 to 2021. Prior to that, they earned a Master's degree in Engineering/Industrial Management from the University of Michigan-Dearborn and a Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering from Florida A&M University. In addition to their academic achievements, Jacobia has obtained several certifications including Communicating about Culturally Sensitive Issues from LinkedIn, Lean Six Sigma Black Belt (ICBB) from Six Sigma Academy, Project Management Professional (PMP) from the Project Management Training Institute (PMTI), and Scrum Alliance Certified Scrum Professional from Scrum Alliance.
