Jana Reed

Jana Reed, MBA has a diverse work experience in the healthcare staffing industry. Jana is currently serving as the Vice President of the Locum's Recruitment Division at AMN Healthcare, where they lead the division and supports hospitals and physicians during the unique time of healthcare staffing.

Prior to their current role, Jana held various positions at Staff Care. Jana served as the Divisional Vice President for Delivery in Surgery and Internal Medicine Sub Specialties from January 2018 to July 2022, where they contributed towards the division's success. Before that, they were the General Manager of the Primary Care Division in 2017, where they had full P&L responsibility and drove both sales and recruitment for the division.

From 2010 to 2016, Jana served as the Divisional Vice President for Behavioral Health and Primary Care at Staff Care. In this role, they were responsible for the Delivery/Operations of the Account Representative and Recruiting Teams for the Behavioral Health Division and Primary Care Division. Jana focused on specialties such as Psychiatry, Psychology, Family Medicine/Family Practice, Pediatrics, and Internal Medicine.

Furthermore, Jana previously held the position of Regional Vice President for the Surgical Division from 2006 to 2010 and started their career as an Account Representative in 2004, showcasing their growth and experience within the company.

Jana Reed, MBA, holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from Western Governors University, with a focus on Health/Health Care Administration/Management, which they earned from 2017 to 2019. Prior to their MBA, they obtained a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Kinesiology and Exercise Science from Northeastern State University from 1993 to 1997. Jana also holds a Bachelor's of Science degree in Exercise Physiology from the same institution during the same period. Additionally, they have earned a certification in Unconscious Bias from LinkedIn in 2020.
