Bryan Sommese

Bryan Sommese has extensive work experience in the field of intellectual property. Bryan started their career as a Law Clerk at the National Institutes of Health-Office of Technology Transfer, where they drafted and negotiated commercial patent and biological materials licenses. Bryan also evaluated government employee invention disclosures and assessed patentability and marketability of invention disclosures. Following this, Bryan worked at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology as a Law Clerk and then joined Lerner, David, Littenberg, Krumholz & Mentlik, LLP as an Intellectual Property Attorney. In this role, they provided legal expertise in intellectual property matters. Currently, Bryan is Senior Director - Global Intellectual Property - Senior Patent Litigation Counsel at Amneal Pharmaceuticals, where they oversee global intellectual property and handles patent litigation.

Bryan Sommese holds a Master of Science (M.S.) degree in Biotechnology and FDA Regulatory Affairs, which they obtained from The Johns Hopkins University from 2003 to 2007. Prior to that, they pursued a Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree in Intellectual Property Law at UNH Franklin Pierce School of Law from 2002 to 2005.
