Joseph Kates

Joseph Kates, CPA, has a strong background in finance and accounting spanning over 20 years. Joseph most recently served as the Senior Vice President of Corporate Finance & FP&A at Amneal Pharmaceuticals since March 2022. Prior to this role, they held the position of Vice President of Finance & Analytics at Amneal Pharmaceuticals from April 2019 to February 2022.

Before joining Amneal Pharmaceuticals, Joseph worked at Allergan, where they served as the Associate Vice President of Financial Reporting – Assistant Controller from January 2017 to April 2019. Joseph also held the role of Assistant Controller at Allergan from October 2013 to December 2016. Joseph's tenure at Allergan began with Warner Chilcott, where they served as the Senior Director of Financial Reporting & Technical Accounting from January 2013 to October 2013.

Joseph's previous experience includes roles at Warner Chilcott as the Director of Financial Reporting from January 2009 to December 2012, Senior Manager of Financial Reporting from January 2007 to December 2008, and Manager of Financial Reporting from October 2005 to December 2006.

Early in their career, Joseph worked as an Audit Manager at Deloitte from May 2002 to October 2005. Joseph started their professional journey as an Auditor at Arthur Andersen LLP from September 2000 to April 2002.

Joseph Kates, CPA, holds a Masters in Business Administration degree, which they obtained from Montclair State University in the years 2000-2002. Prior to that, they completed their undergraduate studies at the University of Central Florida from 1996-2000, where they earned a Bachelors of Science in Business Administration with a focus on Accounting.
