Robert Duggan has a diverse work experience spanning several industries. Robert started their career at Lake Electronics ltd as a Student Engineer in 1984. Robert then worked as an Applications Engineer and Optics Specialist at I.S.I. Industrial and scientific imaging Ltd from 1985 to 1989. Duggan then moved to Fujitsu Amdahl, where they worked as an Equipment and Maintenance Engineer, and later as an Advanced Equipment Engineer from 1989 to 1992. Robert gained experience in the computer industry and applied automated laser processes. After a brief period of self-employment and completing a graduate computer systems diploma at TCD, Duggan joined Bausch and Lomb Irl in 1993. Robert started as a Systems Engineer and progressed to become an Automation Systems Manager. Robert managed various projects, implemented bar-coding systems, and improved manufacturing processes. In 2014, Duggan worked as a Project Manager at Prochem Engineering and later at Teva Pharmaceuticals Ireland, where they managed a high-speed packaging line and implemented process improvements. Currently, Duggan is working at Amneal Pharmaceuticals as a Process Engineer Lead. Robert is involved in new product introductions, automation of filling and packing processes, and audits.

Robert Duggan attended the University of Limerick from 1981 to 1985, where they earned a degree in Electronics Engineering. Robert later attended Trinity College Dublin from 1992 to 1994, obtaining a Graduate Diploma in Management and Computer Science.
