Chantelle M. de la Cruz

Chantelle M. De La Cruz is an experienced professional in the fields of equity, diversity, and human rights, currently serving as the Interim Director of People, Equity and Culture at Amnesty International Canada since May 2022. In addition, Chantelle has been a Co-Visionary at Architequity since January 2022. Previous roles include Senior Policy Advisor at the Canadian Human Rights Commission and EDI Strategist at Canadian Equality Consulting. Chantelle's expertise also encompasses gender and humanitarian consulting, evidenced by work with the Aga Khan Foundation Canada, and management of projects focused on equal rights at The IWI: International Women's Initiative. Educational credentials include a Master of Public Policy from The Australian National University, a certificate in Public Policy Analysis from The London School of Economics and Political Science, and a Bachelor of Arts in International Development Studies and Women and Gender Relations from the University of Toronto, along with a Graduate Certification in Gender Mainstreaming Policy and Analysis from Flinders University.
