Erin Riley-Oettl currently serves as the Manager of Human Rights Law, Campaigns, and Advocacy at Amnesty International Canada since August 2023, while also holding a Board Member position at Lawyers' Rights Watch Canada since May 2020, where responsibilities include monitoring human rights abuses in Kenya and the Philippines. Erin has worked as a freelance consultant since July 2017, specializing in legal and public policy development within international and community development contexts. Previous experience includes program management and research roles at Ryerson University, as well as legal positions with organizations like the Legal and Human Rights Centre and the Nova Scotia Department of Justice. Erin holds a Master’s degree in Public Policy from the University of Toronto, a Bachelor of Laws from the University of New Brunswick, and a combined honours Bachelor of Arts from Dalhousie University.
