Janet Park

Janet Park, MA, CFRE, currently serves as the Chief Development Officer for The Salvation Army in Canada and Bermuda since April 2017, while also holding the position of Manager for Leadership Giving & Legacies at Amnesty International Canada since June 2015. Previously, Janet held the role of Director of Philanthropic Giving & Partnerships at Variety Village from November 2013 to June 2015, focusing on inclusivity in sport and recreation. Janet's extensive experience at The Salvation Army spanned from December 2006 to November 2013 in various positions, including Senior Planned Gift Planner and Major Gift Officer, where efforts centered on meaningful philanthropy for marginalized Canadians. Prior to this, Janet was the Executive Director at Victim Services of Sarnia-Lambton from 1992 to 2003, overseeing crisis response and team management in collaboration with criminal justice stakeholders. Janet earned a Master of Arts in Philanthropy & Development from St. Mary's University and a Bachelor’s degree in Sociology from York University.
