Zahra Javaid

Zahra Javaid currently serves as a Legislative Assistant at the Legislative Assembly of Ontario and holds the position of National Youth Activist/Organizer for Amnesty International Canada. Additionally, Zahra is a Compliance Analyst with the G7 Research Group and has previously worked as a Senior Copy Editor at Varsity Publications Inc. and as the Fundraising and Events Director for the Feminist Equal Rights Alliance. Other roles include Media and Communications Director for Amnesty International at the University of Toronto, Vice Director for the European Union at the University of Toronto Model United Nations, and Crisis Analyst for both the University of Toronto Model United Nations and the North American Model United Nations. Zahra is pursuing an Honours Bachelor of Arts in International Relations, Political Science, and Economics at the University of Toronto, expected to graduate in June 2024.
