Dr Shirah Z Mansaray

Dr. Shirah Z Mansaray is an accomplished academic and professional with extensive experience in interdisciplinary education, human rights advocacy, and international non-profit leadership. Currently serving as an Associate Lecturer at the UCL Department of Science, Technology, Engineering and Public Policy, Dr. Mansaray contributes to the development of innovative modules and hosts a podcast featuring expert discussions on critical topics. As a Partner and Co-founder at Themis Crown Advocates, and a Trustee & Non-Executive Director at Amnesty International UK, Dr. Mansaray is deeply committed to promoting equality, diversity, and inclusion. Additionally, Dr. Mansaray founded the NGO "I Am Somebody's Child Soldier," providing vital support to war-affected children, and has held executive roles in various organizations focusing on mental health and homelessness. With a robust legal background and a PhD in Sustainable & Responsible Innovation in Mental Health Care Architecture from UCL, Dr. Mansaray combines academic insight with practical expertise in advancing social justice and humanitarian efforts.
