Sandy Abi-Elias is an experienced programme manager currently leading the Football Welcomes initiative at Amnesty International UK since October 2021. Prior experience includes serving as a Youth Engagement Officer at Fulham Football Club, where responsibilities encompassed supporting youth and refugee programs and delivering social action projects. Sandy also worked as a Lead Multi Sports Coach at England Sports Group, focusing on extracurricular sports and life skills development through sport. Previous roles included development coaching in China with Football Talents and sessional coaching at Chelsea Football Club, with a background in working with diverse age groups and abilities. Sandy Abi-Elias holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Sport and Social Sciences from the University of Bath, completed in 2019.
