Candy Ofime is a dedicated legal professional with extensive experience in human rights and climate justice. Currently serving as a Researcher and Legal Adviser in the Climate Justice Team and previously in the Business & Human Rights Team at Amnesty International since August 2021, Candy has played a key role in advocating for human rights. Prior experience includes an Associate position in Dispute Resolution at Baker McKenzie from October 2018 to July 2021 and a Leonard H. Sandler Fellowship at Human Rights Watch, focusing on human rights developments in Mauritania. Candy has also contributed to various legal and humanitarian initiatives through roles at organizations including the Legal Resources Centre, Salzburg Global Seminar, and Diakonia. Academically, Candy holds a Juris Doctor from Columbia Law School and multiple law and economics degrees from the University of Paris I: Panthéon-Sorbonne.
