Erika Guevara Rosas serves as the Senior Director for Global Research, Advocacy, Policy and Campaigns at Amnesty International, where leadership involves strategic oversight across global locations and the development of key human rights initiatives. Previously, as the Americas Director, focus was placed on advancing human rights agendas throughout the region and enhancing the organization's presence and impact. Prior experience includes serving as Regional Director at Global Fund for Women, effectively managing a $15 million grant program for women's rights organizations, and holding various roles at UNHCR, where legal protection for refugees was emphasized. Erika holds a Master of Arts in Women's Studies and a Graduate Diploma in Refugee and Migration Studies, both from York University.
