Jon Jacques

Jon Jacques is a Global Fundraising Specialist focusing on legacies at Amnesty International since January 2023, where the emphasis is on building capacity for legacy fundraising on a global scale. Previously, Jon served as the Fundraising Proposition Lead and Head of Legacies at Save the Children UK from October 2017 to December 2022. Additionally, Jon chaired the Will Aid charity will-writing scheme from April 2019 to December 2022, contributing to raising over £20 million for beneficiaries worldwide. Jon's experience also includes roles as Head of Legacy Development at Barnardo's, Head of Legacies at Mencap, and Direct Marketing Manager for Legacies at the British Red Cross. The early career comprised positions at Whitewater, Maverick Advertising and Design, and MICE TMM, with a strong foundation in account management and copywriting. Jon holds a BA (Hons) in Cultural Studies from the University of East London, earned between 1990 and 1993.
