Sara Vida Coumans

Sara Vida Coumans currently serves as Co-chair of the Supervisory Board at Mama Cash since January 2025, overseeing the organization's policies and supporting the Managing Board. Since January 2015, Coumans has held the position of Deputy Director Campaigns and Education Programme and Head of the Global Children and Youth Team at Amnesty International, where strategies for youth engagement and program management are emphasized. Previous roles include Global Youth Manager and International Youth Coordinator at Amnesty International, as well as a director board member at the United Network of Young Peacebuilders from February 2021 to February 2023. Coumans has also been actively involved with the Youth Coalition for Sexual and Reproductive Rights in various capacities from 2005 to 2016 and served as Advocacy Officer at dance4life. The academic background includes a Master's degree in Social Policy for Development from the International Institute of Social Studies and a Bachelor's degree in Social Science from University College Utrecht.
