Greg Smith is Amobee’s Chief Technology Officer.
Greg Smith leads Amobee’s data science, engineering and technology teams. He oversees the Amobee Marketing Platform stack across internal areas such as the advertising buying platform (DSP), data management platform (DMP) Datamine, and Brand Intelligence.
Formerly, Greg was the Chief Technology Officer of Nexstar Digital where he developed and managed real-time bidding and fulfillment platforms for emerging digital TV ad markets. Prior to Nexstar, Greg served as Chief Technology Officer and Head of Operations at Sizmek. At his direction, the company created the first real-time data platform for massive-scale analytics.
Prior to Sizmek, he was founder, COO, and CEO of Connected Lyfe where he patented adaptive multicast technology for television distribution. Prior to that, he was the founder and Chief Technology Officer of Move Networks, a digital media technologies and services company, which created the world’s first adaptive streaming protocol for video. He has held executive and leadership roles at DGIT, All Media Guide, Edgix and PanAmSat, and SpaceSystems/Loral.
Greg holds dual bachelor’s degrees in Aerospace and Mechanical Engineering from Princeton University and has studied Control Theory and Advanced Dynamics at Stanford University.
