Lori Katz

Lori Katz, SPHR has a diverse range of work experience spanning over two decades. Lori started their career at Amoeba Music in 1999, where they worked their way up from an Assistant General Manager to a Human Resources Specialist. In this role, they managed payroll, benefits, and implemented various HR initiatives. Lori then became a Human Resources Manager, where they successfully implemented cost-saving measures and redefined job responsibilities to improve organizational efficiency. Ultimately, they became the Human Resources Director, responsible for employee recruitment, training, and engagement. In 2017, Lori joined Hi Fidelity Cannabis Shop as a Project Manager and subsequently became the Director of Human Resources.

Lori Katz, SPHR holds a Master of Fine Arts (MFA) degree in Painting from California College of the Arts (1995-1997) and a Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) degree in Painting from the University of Michigan (1983-1987). Lori also obtained a Certificate in Human Resources Management from UC Berkeley Extension (2015-2016). Additionally, they hold multiple certifications, including the Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR) certification from HRCI (2020) and UC Berkeley Extension's Certificate in Human Resource Management.
