Lisa Gilan

Director, Talent Management at Jewish Federation of Metropolitan Detroit

Lisa Gilan has a diverse work experience in talent management and education. Lisa started their career in 2003 at Frankel Jewish Academy, where they held roles as Director of Student Life and later as Director of Admissions until 2018. In 2018, they joined the Jewish Federation of Metropolitan Detroit as a Talent and Organization Manager. Lisa was then promoted to Associate Director of Talent Management in November 2020 and currently serves as the Director of Talent Management.

Lisa Gilan earned a Master of Social Work (MSW) degree with a specialization in Jewish Communal Service from the University of Michigan, attending from 1996 to 1998. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degree in Human Resources Management and Services from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, where they studied from 1992 to 1996. Lisa completed their secondary education at Nicolet High School from 1988 to 1992. Additionally, they obtained a certification as a Certified Plan Sponsor Professional (CPSP) from the Plan Sponsor Council of America in May 2021.
