Maciek Lukawski has a wealth of experience in the energy industry. Maciek is currently the Head of Strategy and Business Development and Head of Market Development at Amogy, a position they have held since 2022. Prior to this, they were an M&A Advisor and Senior Process Research Engineer - Gas Monetization at ExxonMobil from 2018-2022. At ExxonMobil, they were a Summer Research Intern - Process & Risk from 2015-2016 and a Summer Research Intern - LNG from 2014-2015. At SunEdison, they were a Consultant - Solar PV & Storage from 2013-2014. Finally, at Lund University, they were a Visiting Researcher - Building Energy Systems from 2010-2013, where they achieved a 5% reduction in cost of heat delivered to a cluster of residential buildings in Sweden by creating and deploying an optimization algorithm for controlling circulation pumps.

Maciek Lukawski earned a B.S/M.S. in Energy Engineering from the AGH University of Science and Technology between 2005 and 2010. Maciek then attended Háskóli Íslands to receive an M.S. in Renewable Energy Science between 2008 and 2009. Finally, they earned a Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering from Cornell University between 2010 and 2016.
