Weizhong Wang

Weizhong Wang is an experienced professional in the field of electronics and control software. Weizhong has held various roles in the industry since 2014. In 2021, they are currently a Manager of Electronics and Control Software and a Senior Electrical Engineer at Amogy. Prior to this, they were a Senior Test Engineer at Lucid Motors in 2020. From 2018-2020, they were a Battery Algorithm Intern at Faraday Future. From 2016-2018, they were a Research Assistant at Columbia University in the City of New York, where they worked on state of X estimation using AI, was the Fast Charger Project Lead, worked on active battery balancing development, and was a Teaching Assistant. Weizhong also held a Research Assistant role at McMaster University from 2014-2016, where they worked on a BMS Project with FCA.

Weizhong Wang studied Electrical and Electronics Engineering at Harbin Institute of Technology at Weihai, earning a Bachelor's degree in 2014. Weizhong then went on to pursue a Master of Science (M.Sc.) in Electrical Engineering at McMaster University, which they completed in 2016. Finally, they obtained a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Electrical Engineering from Columbia University in 2020.
