Joost van Driel

Joost van Driel is an experienced technical manager currently at Movares since June 2013, responsible for ensuring high-quality deliverables in complex projects such as PHS Amsterdam and S&C Metro Amsterdam. Joost has also worked as an advisor focused on railway safety and system implementation for various clients, including significant projects with the municipality of Amsterdam and Rijkswaterstaat. Additionally, Joost serves as a skipper and flotilla leader for Amorgos Zeilvakanties, and holds the position of treasurer at Scouting Terraqua. Previous roles include project leader for the signaling and control team within Amsterdam's public transit authority and treasurer for Young Movares. Joost's early career features positions as a team leader at Leeghwatergroep and an advisor at VRS Railway Industry. An alumnus of Delft University of Technology, Joost earned a Master of Science in Electrical Engineering, specializing in Microelectronics, along with several related courses.
