Simon Hooson is an experienced Senior Project Manager with a strong background in delivering regulatory and strategic projects across financial services. Currently at AMP Capital since April 2020, Simon oversees the IBOR Transition and Uncleared Margin Rules (UMR) projects while managing cross-functional teams to implement critical programs such as Securities Lending and prepare for the ASIC Rewrite Rules. Prior to AMP Capital, Simon held senior project management roles at ABN AMRO Clearing Bank N.V. and BREVAN HOWARD ASSET MANAGEMENT LLP, focusing on regulatory compliance and middle office functions. Early career roles at Citi and Credit Suisse involved supporting fixed income operations and OTC derivatives, respectively. Simon holds a Bachelor's degree in American and English Literature from the University of East Anglia.

First-stage completion has occurred for the sale and transfer of the AMP Capital real estate and domestic infrastructure equity business to Dexus. This enables the integration of the AMP Capital business into the Dexus platform, with the combined business creating a leading real assets investment manager in Australia with more than $60 billion of funds under management.
