Joan Barbé Quijada

Joan Barbé Quijada is a multifaceted professional with extensive experience in education, journalism, and the arts. Since June 2015, Joan has served as a Monitor d'Educació Especial at Ampans. Additionally, since 2007, Joan has contributed as a collaborator and opinion columnist for Diari Regió 7, while also working as a freelance screenwriter and journalist since 1987. With a strong background in theater, Joan has authored and translated over twenty plays and has been associated with SGAE since 1982 as a theatrical author and screenwriter for notable awards. Joan was the manager of the Festival Internacional de Cinema Negre de Manresa from 1999 to 2012 and has written various theatrical works for orchestras and musicals. Joan held managerial roles in both Grupo Planeta and Frexanet Wellness Projects and was also a writer and presenter at TVE from 2001 to 2004. Educational credentials include a degree in Industrial Engineering, Chemistry from the Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya and training in Dramatic Arts from the Institut del Teatre de Terrassa.
