Hui Du

Chief Technology Officer, Co-founder at Ampcera Inc.

Hui Du has worked for several companies since 1999. From 1999 to 2003, they were a Graduate Researcher at Clemson University. Hui then worked as a Graduate Researcher and Research Staff at the Shanghai Institute of Ceramics Chinese Academy of Sciences from 2003 to 2009. In 2009, they became a Postdoctoral Research Associate at Carnegie Mellon University. In 2010, they were a Postdoc at the National Renewable Energy Laboratory. From 2011 to 2013, they were a Sr. CVD Process Engineer at Veeco Instruments. From 2013 to 2017, they were a Manager of the Ionic Conductive Materials Department and Sr. Research Scientist at Sion Power. In 2017, they became General Manager and Co-founder at MSE Supplies LLC and Chief Technology Officer and Co-founder at Ampcera Inc., where they develop technologies to integrate solid-state electrolyte materials into solid-state batteries.

Hui Du received their Bachelor's degree in Materials Science and Engineering from Zhengzhou University between 1995 and 1999. Hui then went on to receive their M.S. in Material Science and Engineering from the Shanghai Institute of Ceramics, Chinese Academy of Sciences between 1999 and 2002. Hui then received their M.S. in Material Science and Engineering from Clemson University in 2003. Finally, they obtained their Ph. D in Materials Science and Engineering from Carnegie Mellon University between 2004 and 2009.
