Carolyn Woldring

Carolyn Woldring is a seasoned engineering professional with extensive experience in product development and materials science. As Chief Technology Officer and Co-Founder at Magsorbeo Biomedical since February 2022, Carolyn drives the company's technical vision and oversees the development of its bioabsorbable magnesium alloy and medical device products. Prior to this role, Carolyn served as a Senior Product Development Engineer at nanoMAG, where leadership was demonstrated in orthopedic fixation systems, and as a Process Engineer at Zapp Precision Strip, managing critical manufacturing projects. Additional experience includes roles at Vendorpass and Boston Scientific, focusing on materials engineering and metallurgical analysis. Carolyn’s academic background includes a Bachelor of Science in Materials Science and Engineering from Michigan Technological University.
