Jason Dawes

Jason Dawes is a seasoned professional in design and engineering with extensive experience across various industries. Currently serving as the User Experience (UX) Design Lead at Ampcontrol since July 2023, Jason is also a Committee Member of the HunterNet Future Leaders Program, where contributions focus on developing aspiring industry talent. Prior experience includes a significant tenure as a Research & Development Engineer - Industrial Design at ResTech, where Jason played a key role in product innovation, as well as serving as a Production Engineer and Technical Draftsperson at AllightSykes, which involved designing and optimizing machinery for the mining and construction sectors. Earlier roles at Treloar Group Trading Pty Ltd as an Industrial Designer and Team Leader of Engineering Projects, and as a Graphic Designer at Newcastle Infotech, helped establish a comprehensive foundation in design and project management. Jason holds a Bachelor of Industrial Design from the University of Newcastle, obtained in 2007.
