Ampelmann Operations
Íñigo Castro de Castro is a Motion Control Engineer at Ampelmann Operations since November 2022, previously serving as an Automation Engineer and Product Engineer at Airborne, where responsibilities included supporting industrial projects and providing customer technical support. At TU Delft, Íñigo conducted a Master Thesis Project focused on validating the SU2 CFD suite for turbomachinery applications. Previous experience includes a design internship at NLR - Netherlands Aerospace Centre, contributing to a navigation system for ground robots, and participation in a student team at the Aircraft Manufacturing Laboratory to build a Van's RV-12 aircraft. Íñigo's early career involved analyzing autopilot stability and performance at CARTUM. Educational qualifications include a Master’s degree in Aerospace Engineering from Delft University of Technology and a Bachelor's degree from Universidad de León, both specializing in propulsion systems.
