Richard Pothin

Richard POTHIN is an accomplished professional in the electric vehicle and charging infrastructure sectors, currently serving as the VP of Charging Ecosystem at Ampere since November 2023. POTHIN has extensive experience at Renault Group from September 2002 to September 2024, where roles included Expert Leader for Electric Vehicle Ecosystem and Head of the EV/HEV System Department, focusing on charging infrastructure and energy management. Additional experience includes leadership positions in engineering and project management at Renault-Nissan-Mitsubishi and the founding of SmartEVLab, an electric vehicle-centric lab. POTHIN holds a Research Doctorate in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, Robotics, and Automation from IRCCyN - Ecole Centrale Nantes.
