James Godwin

James Godwin has a diverse work experience spanning different companies and roles. James is currently working as a Principal Systems Engineer at Ampere since April 2022. Prior to that, they held the position of Principal Software Engineer at Broadcom Inc. from March 2019 to February 2022, where they focused on automating simulations and supporting partners and customers. James also had an extensive tenure at Broadcom Inc. starting from 2007, where they held roles such as Principal Engineering Systems Analyst and Senior Staff Engineering Systems Analyst, leading various engineering IT initiatives and supporting software engineering teams. Before joining Broadcom, they worked as a Systems Administrator at LVL7 Systems in 2005 and as an Assistant Systems Administrator at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill from 2001 to 2005.

James Godwin received their Bachelor of Arts degree in Philosophy from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in 2003.
