Kevin Smith

Kevin Smith has extensive experience in programming languages and compilers, currently serving as Vice President of Programming Languages at Ampere since May 2018, following roles as Director of Compilers and External Consultant at the same company. Prior to Ampere, Kevin held the position of Leadership Development Consultant and Compilers at a from 2017 to May 2018. Kevin also spent over two decades at Intel as Vice President of Mobile Computing and Compilers from November 1989 to June 2016. Earlier in Kevin's career, programming was pursued at Control Data Corporation from 1977 to 1989. Kevin graduated from the University of Colorado Boulder, where studies were completed from 1972 to 1977, and attended Regis High School.
