Tanmay Patil

Tanmay Patil is a CPU Validation Engineer at Ampere, having joined in February 2023, where responsibilities include validating the 64-bit ARMv8 Server Processor family. Prior to this role, Tanmay worked as a Pre-Silicon System Integration and Validation Intern at Intel Corporation from January 2022 to February 2023, focusing on system-level emulation for Intel’s Discrete Graphics SoC. Tanmay served as a Graduate Teaching Assistant at Portland State University, assisting in undergraduate engineering courses, and gained practical experience as a Housing Maintenance Student Painter in the university's Facility Management department. Previous internship experiences include a summer position at Bhabha Atomic Research Centre and a project internship at KJ Somaiya College of Engineering, alongside earlier work as an Embedded Engineer with Orion Racing India. Tanmay holds a Master of Science in Electrical and Computer Engineering from Portland State University and a Bachelor of Technology in Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering from KJ Somaiya College of Engineering.
