Senior Technical Support Engineer at Amperity

Gavin Look has a diverse work background, starting as a Production Engineering Intern at BOPCO L.P. in 2010 and 2011. From 2012 to 2016, they worked at Sanjel USA as a Field Engineer, managing on-site operations and conducting real-time data analysis for hydraulic fracture wells. Gavin then became a Structural Engineering Inspector at Saez Consulting Engineers, Inc., working on the I99 Bertha Tunnel project and learning about civil engineering and reinforced concrete inspection. In 2017, they worked at O'Neil Service Group as a Structural Engineering Inspector, inspecting concrete structures on floating bridges and teaching himself WSDOT standards. In 2018, they became a Full Stack Web Developer at Galvanize Inc before ultimately joining Amperity, where they started as a Technical Support Engineer and moved up to become Senior Technical Support Engineer, leading the creation and launch of an overseas support team. Gavin showed an ability to take on diverse projects and wear many hats in a start-up environment.

Gavin Look has a degree in Petroleum Engineering from Texas Tech University, which they earned between the years 2008 and 2012. Gavin has also completed a Full Stack Web Development course at Galvanize Inc, although the timeframe of their enrollment and graduation is unknown.
